TV news director arrested at MLK parade

Wilmington station’s news director tries to ignore police officer, fails.

Scott Pickey tried to leave the television station at 615 N. Front St. in a vehicle and an officer ordered him not to leave, confirmed Lucy Crockett, a police spokeswoman.

Pickey then drove out of the parking lot onto the parade route, Crockett said.
