Senate hearing on new voting rules that would be nation’s strictest

Update 4:06 PM – Senate Rules Committee passes HB589 in voice vote, bill moves to the Senate for debate.

The Senate Rules Committee is scheduled to discuss a strict 57-page voting rules bill at 2 PM in Room 643 of the Legislative Office Building.
